I have a one year old!
Hey everybody! I am so sorry that I have not updated the blog in a LONG time.
The biggest update is that I have a one year old! Phoenix turned one on October 6th (yes I know that is almost a month ago) I can’t believe that so much has happened in a year. There have been countless smiles and tears. So many ups and downs. Numerous play dates and doctors appointments. In the first weeks of Phoenix’s life there was so much uncertainty . We didn’t know what life was going to hold for our little newborn. But, she has proven that she is a fighter and an amazing little girl. We have been so blessed to have Phoenix in our lives. Even though the future is still uncertain, I can look forward and know that Phoenix will always be the awesome little fighter that she is.
In other news, Phoenix is having her second syndactyly release this week. We will be traveling to Boston on Wednesday and she will have the surgery on Friday. After the surgery she will spend 2 nights in the hospital and one night in the hotel with us. After 3 weeks she will be cast free!
Check out some these adorable pictures of Phoenix taken by Amanda Perry Photography.
